So much for my weekly goals and update! I haven't been doing very good with any of them for the past two weeks, no exercise, no eating right, better on drinking water though. I guess 1 out of 3 isn't a total loss. The weather has been great except in the mornings we have had so much fog you couldn't see 20 feet in front of you. Well that's my story for not walking and I'm sticking to it. We have been so lucky to have the beautiful, warm weather we've been having and apparently it's going to stay that way for a little while longer.
We had a really quiet weekend. Friday I ran my usual errands. Saturday husband and Shane cleared some more out of our backyard and I sat on the deck reading and watching them. Saturday afternoon husband and I took the bike out, usually we head to the beach but we figured everybody else would be doing the same so we went north of where we live. It was so nice riding down country roads which has a beauty all it's own. After we got back we put some chicken on the grill and finally used our chimnea, we have it about 4 years and never used it. Husband had cleared an area in the backyard and put some chairs around the chimnea (don't know if I'm spelling that right). We sat around the fire and roasted marshmellows. It really was a very nice ending to a beautiful day.
I've been thinking about trying Zumba, does anyone do that? If so, how much coordination do you really need to succeed? A friend has been doing it once a week for a while and she keeps telling me to come try it out. I don't want to make a fool out of myself but I kind of want to try it.
So my goals for the week are very small so maybe I will do them. 1) drink more water, 2) exercise at least 3 times. Surely I can handle just those two things - I guess we shall see!
