Weekend review

Friday Shane went for his mri, hopefully I'll get the results today. Afterward we headed to my parents for the weekend (husband stayed home so he could spend Easter with his parents). It was nice getting their earlier than usual because Shane had the day off. Cole got home early too so we were able to hang out with him.

Saturday I finally washed my car, not that you can tell it now with all the pollen but it was so dirty. Also my parents and I went to take flowers to both sets of my grandparents graves, I hadn't been to either in a while and I just enjoyed doing something with both my parents, seems like it's usually me and one or the other. Just a very nice day all around.

My boys have had the same Easter basket since they were born, since all our stuff is packed away I just used gift bags to put their candy in. I know Cole is 21 but I think I'll be giving both of them candy filled baskets until they are married! This is their bags.
We left my parents early afternoon so we got home and unpacked we ran over to in-laws for a quick visit and more food. Hope everyone had a nice Easter.

I love that you still give your boys Easter baskets. My hubby's parents still give us all Easter goodies and we are in our 30s and 40s. lol!

Dont stop after they are married! I used to give Jason an Easter bakset, but now with Emma, we didnt even THINK about easter baskets for each other (which really isnt necessary AT ALL though really), but I think you continuing to give your boys Easter baskets even after they're married with kids will be a nice treat for them.

Ah, I think it's great that you still give them Easter baskets! You are never too old for chocolate.
