Yoga anyone

Yesterday I tried a yoga class, all I can say is oh my gosh! This was my first class ever so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. It was so much harder than I thought, I thought I would do a little stretching and relax and breathe – boy was I wrong. I’m feeling muscles I didn’t even know existed. Last night I took a really warm bath trying to soothe my muscles and this morning my arms and back are so very sore. Despite all this I really enjoyed the class and will go back tomorrow. They offer it at out gym two days a week; I think that’s probably all I could handle anyway. Has anybody seen any thick yoga mats? The ones they have at the gym are thin and the class is held on a basketball court so my boney knees were killing me.

Oh yeah, definitely harder than it looks. I haven't taken a class in a long time because they are always given so late but I always enjoyed the calm I felt afterwards. I have one of those mats from Gaiam.

I think I've seen some thicker ones at places like Bed Bath & Beyond and TJ Maxx.

I've never tried yoga- never will either. I have a fear of getting a leg stuck behind my head, having to call an ambulance and the embarrassment of all that would just be to great.

Want to know my theory on having sex in a shower??

I have always heard it was hard. The husband here loves it but I don't think he's done that since we have been married. He said it's very relaxing. My body can't move like that!

My MIL is BIG into Yoga... she has done it for years. Truly amazing! I have not tried it...Not sure I have what it takes.
Good for you for trying....
I saw a bunch of yoga mats at BORDERS in the yoga "book" section...
