Day Trip (part 1)

Yesterday Shane and I drove into Newport, RI for some reason I've always wanted to go there. The first picture is when you start to enter Newport. Shane was trying to take a picture of the bridge in the background. That bridge looked so big and high, I didn't think I was afraid of bridges but I was really relieved when I didn't have to get it on it.

Newport is a very cute little town. The streets are really meant for walking not driving they are so narrow. The area we were in was right along the ocean so it was very touristy.
Another shot of the streets and shops.
A lot of the houses had this round shape with the pointed roof on it, I thought they were very pretty and very big.
Another typical house, I wonder if a lot of them have been made into apartments because they are really big.
I'll continue with more pictures next week. We don't have any plans this weekend, it's only suppose to be in the low 70's both days so I guess the beach is out. What am I going to do without the beach? Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Those homes are so pretty. I can't wait to see what else you saw there. I see Shane taking the picture! Temps in the 70s sounds like a dream to me! That is perfect beach weather for me. I hope you have a nice weekend and maybe even go somewhere else new to see.
