Big pat on the back...

I'd like to give a big pat on the back to my oldest son C. He has been going to school "back home" for the past year and a half. He has always hated school, the only reason he wanted to go back in high school was to socialize not to sit in class. Anyway he started off going for computer programming or whatever they call it and switched to a technical college a few months ago, still going for the same major. This past quarter he switched majors, programs of study whatever they call it to TV and Radio broadcasting. This is an area that he has always been interested in (I suggested this to him before he graduated high school because we know our children better than they know themselves!) So he has been really excited about this program and actually enjoys going to class. Earlier this week he went on an interview and got the job with a TV station YEAH. This is a part time job working in the evenings, he will be assisting the cameraman and learning how to use the camera for nightly local news programs. I'm so happy and proud of him, I really think this is going to be a great opportunity for him. As he is going to school he will be able to put that into practice at work. Congratulations C!
