I finally have something to do. We still don't have much news on our move, husband has had a couple of interviews this week and was told the processing time could take up to 3 months (it's a government job) so in the meantime I had applied for various part-time jobs and got a call on Tuesday for an interview. I got the job and they wanted me to start the next day, at first I thought it would be just a few days a week but they asked it I could work every day (6 hours each day) I said I could. I'm working for a psychologist managing the front office and so far so good, this is new for me - I've never dealt with insurance stuff before but I'm learning. I felt guilty not letting them know about my "situation" but after we found out it could be 3 more months before husband starts work plus time to find a place to live I may end of working here for 6 months! Anyway I'm thankful to be doing something constructive and earning some money.

I've been in the insurance field for about 18 years both in the physicians office , the insurance company and now on the practice management side (electronic billing ) love it.. You'll be fine !

Congrats! Don't feel bad about not letting them know your situation. Nothing is written in stone at this point. I felt bad when I got my first teaching job for the same reason. They asked how long I would be living in town. I told them forever (knowing I was only there for graduate school!) Things changed and I ended up working there 25 years until I retired! And I still contract with them when they need me!
