Weekend

First of all a big congratulations to AM and her family on their new arrival.

We didn't do anything on Friday, Shane was suppose to have baseball practice but it was cancelled at the last minute - we didn't mind.

Saturday I went to look at my first house in person rather than on the computer. I've spent hours looking through all the available houses in the area. I didn't love the house, I thought the outside was pretty but didn't like the layout. In the afternoon Shane had a game, he is required to get their one hour early and on Saturday because of rain in the morning his game was delayed an hour. We got to spend 4.5 hours at the ballpark, I have to remember to put a book in the car in case that happens again. Shane played really well. He has three games this week, he will be a very tired kid.

Today I checked out an open house, I didn't love this one either but liked several things about the house. I've got an appointment to look at several tomorrow - this is so exciting to me and I think the internet is a wonderful tool to use for all the information on the houses. Husband made it home this afternoon - he was very tired. He needs to rest up before Wednesday when we leave on our tropical trip.

Are you looking for houses in the same area or close to where you live now? Or is this for where hubby could get a job?

You'll probably find the perfect house when you least expect it. Seems like things usually work out that way sometimes. Only a couple more days 'till your big ride! I'm so excited for you guys!

WhaT an exciting time! House shopping is so much fun. How far away is the husband's job? I guess not too bad if yall are considering having him commute so you can live where you are.

I bet that perfect house is out there just calling out for you....make sure you get one big enough to sleep your Northern friends who freeze their buns off in New England during the winter!
