Weekend review

What a beautiful, gorgeous day today, husband and I took the motorcycle over to Destin to do a little shopping. While riding and looking at the water I felt so blessed to be living in such a beautiful area. I guess all the other riders had the same idea because I don't think I've ever seen so many bikes on the roads in one day. I found a couple of good deals on capris today, that seems to be all that I wear now days. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures today so you'll just have to trust my word that the sky was so blue and the sun so warm with only a slight breeze.

Saturday was Shane's 15th birthday, I don't know where the time has gone it literally feels like yesterday when he was born. We had a little party Saturday night, husband cooked his famous chicken (I think he could bag it and sell it), hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans and of course cake and ice cream. Shane is lucky this year because we are having a second party at my parents next weekend. Our parents have only celebrated two birthdays with him because of our moving everywhere. This cake was so good, wish everyone could have a bite.
His present from us - he hasn't stopped playing yet.
What he bought with his birthday money.

Yes, Happy Birthday to Shane!! I remember holding him when he was a few weeks old. So little back then. And practically grown-up now! That cake looks so good. Today was a beautiful day. I wish you had taken your camera! I think we are so blessed to live here...of course when those storms hit, that's a different story.

Isn't it Bike week down your way? ours is in June.
Tori has that phone.( or one very close to it. Hers is Orange.
Does Shane Text a lot? I know Tori really likes this phone because of the keyboard feature.
We have Rock band here too...and all the friends are jammin out in Tori's room all the time. ((Sigh)) lol
