Happy Valentine's Day

Husband and I had a really nice day together. He always does so good on holidays, he got me a dozen roses, box of chocolates, balloon, and a package of my favorite candy bar - snickers. We went out to the beach for lunch and ended up staying all afternoon watching nascar qualifying. Not sure who are race fans but this weekend is the first race of the season, very exciting and I'm being serious. I never thought I'd actually enjoy watching cars go in a circle but it's really exicting especially when they wreck. Anyway we had a really good day and I hope everyone else did too.

aww! What a sweet way to spend your day. I am not into Nascar at all. We have the speedway in Loudon and it is nothing but a big pain in the butt;) Good thing it is only a few times a year. Maybe I shouldn't complain since all those fans bring in a lot of moula to the state! LOL!!

Glad your day was special.

I'm not big into racing , I have only been once to Bristol Motor Speedway... the 500 or something like that. LOL! My husbands boss at the time was able to get us suite tickets with Nabisco and we got all the free food and drinks while we watched. That part was fun, but we had to park miles and miles away from the stadium just to find some place to park... that was NO FUN!!

Happy LATE Valentine's Day!!!

your husband DOES do good with the holidays! i got nothing which is typical...oh, racing is BIG in our household. we've only been to one race in charlotte but it was a lot of fun. i too only like it when they wreck. otherwise it's quite boring. my grandfather had a race team WAY back when. i have found some pictures so i'll post them soon - you'll get a kick out of them. i'll make a place on the sofa for y'all sunday when we have our 'party' and serve you up some nachos (not seafood ones)!
