Decorations

I decided to get out a few decorations yesterday. I'm amazed this jack-o-lantern hasn't been broken, I don't remember where I got it but I've had it about 20 years. On the years we don't carve a pumpkin we just sit on the front porch with a candle in it. We always sit outside to give candy to the kids, husband usually dresses up and waits in the bushes to scare the older kids.
I got this pumpkin a couple of years ago I thought it looked pretty in front of this curtain. I put a little candle ring around the candle so it doesn't look so plain.
I promise to get some pictures of the trees today - the leaves are really starting to fall off - I better hurry before they're all on the ground!

That's a great pumpkin! Sometimes I don't feel like carving a pumpkin either but my husband always wants to. We sit outside to hand out candy too. Last year my husband dressed up and tried to scare some of the kids. Some wouldn't come up the driveway while others wanted their picture taken with him.

Fabulous pumpkins!

Why are husbands obsessed with dressing up and scaring neighbor hood kids??

Your leaves are practically down? Ours are not even 10% down yet! Love the pumpkins, my husband put my box of fall decorations "out of my reach". I did ask him to get them down for me and he said he thought it was too early!!!

Love those pumpkins! Hurry and get those pictures...that's amazing to me about the leaves falling like that. One of these days I'm going to see New England in the fall!
