I took Shane, my nephew and niece to see the local minor league baseball team last night. We really had a good time, this is us before the game. I didn't realize the kids all had on camo bottoms until we were there. This is at the game. Shane had to get a hat.
I'll catch up with everyone on Thursday. Just a few things I'm going to miss about being in the south - nothing against my northern friends!
My family and friends
Hot boiled peanuts
Of course the hot, humid weather (ok I'll admit I got really hot while I was here)
Diving in a cool pool or the beach and my body not going numb from being to cold
Going in a store and asked "can I help you" and when you leave they thank you for coming in
Paying $4.00 to see a movie in the afternoon
Not needing my GPS to go ANYWHERE
I could eat a biscuit anywhere (I resisted but knowing they sold them everywhere)

Oh, what wonderful pictures of you all! I love that Cole gave Shane a kiss. And I always thought Cole would be an actor! He knew all those lines to the Jim Carrey movies and always so funny! Shane looks the same age as Cole! What good looking boys they are. There's no real good way of describe the hot/wet heat! Do you all have a Hardee's up North? Because I'm wondering if their biscuits taste the same up there as they do here??
great pictures (whey didn't they get the camo 'memo' to you before leaving for the game??)! i'm sorry your vacation has come to an end but maybe it's time for you to come back to the south permanently (we have good biscuits here in nc too if you need ideas of places to move). i hope you gathered up all the heat/humidity and took it home with you cause y'all can have it ;-)
The end of vacation is always bittersweet! Especially when your leaving "home" to go "home"! Have a safe trip.
I loved seeing all your pictures! That is too funny about them all wearing camos to the game. Great observations about the south. I never really thought much about the store greetings but you are so right! I'm with girlville though on the heat/humidity...take some with you! ;) safe travels home!!
What a great time you had. I love the pictures that you have been posting. Now seeing your Father I can put a face to all his beautiful photos.
Have a safe journey home.
Those are good reasons to live in the South! Bojangles biscuits are the best.
Being from the south myself- I am already salivating thinking about getting boiled peanuts this weekend! My boys will get to experience this for the first time- I hope they don't embarrass me!
