Weekend recap

Friday after work I went to the pond and met a couple of the girls there. We had a really nice time, the weather was warm. Husband really enjoyed his long bike ride; he was gone for 16 hours. This is the first time he’s ridden so far in one day. The weather was nice for them and he said the scenery was beautiful. He and I are going to take a mini ride either next weekend or the weekend after that. I can’t ride unless it’s very warm, I hate being cold especially on a motorcycle so I’m looking forward to seeing something different.

Saturday we made our monthly trip to wal*mart to get our cokes. We don’t live very close to one so we just go once a month. While we out husband decided to get the tattoo he’s been wanting. While he was getting that I went across the street to the mall. Found a couple of things on sale, actually found a swimsuit that I love and fits pretty good, then I headed to B & BW, thanks for the tip on the wallflowers. I got a couple on Saturday and the house smells so good.

Sunday I took S shopping for some sandals, since we were at the mall I decided to get a few more wallflowers, good thing I went on Sunday because the sale ended then. I was talking to my mom on the way to the mall and told her about the B & BW sale so she wanted me to get here some while I was there. I’m going to take them to her when I go home next month. After I got back from the mall I decided to clean up my flower beds, I pulled weeds, trimmed the hostas way down, they were over taking the flower beds then trimmed the hedge, and spread more mulch. It looks really good now; it’s amazing what fresh mulch can do to a flower bed.
