Great weekend

We had a great weekend. Yesterday we went back to the same beach we were at on Saturday. I was really surprised there wasn't many people even on the highways. Not sure where everyone was but was glad we didn't have to deal with traffic. Yesterday was actually a nicer day for the beach, no clouds but a nice breeze. When we got home husband cooked some burgers on the grill and more corn on the cob. I don't think anyone had any trouble sleeping last night, something about being on the beach tires you out.

Sunday we really didn't do anything except cook out, husband cooked chicken and corn on the cob on the grill.

Saturday we went to the beach, one that I hadn't been to yet and really enjoyed it. The parking was good and not far from the beach. The beach really reminded me of Daytona Beach, the sand was very similar and when the tide went out it went really out.
This is looking out from the walkway.

When we got there the water was at the bottom of the hill.

Sounds like a great weekend up there. I need a grill! Your food sounds so good. Suzy has a scanner that she listens to the police talking on and they were talking about how bad the traffic was on both ends of the beach here because the roads don't go through to Navarre anymore and also Ft. Pickens is closed so everyone JAMS up in between and they have to shut the roads down to traffic after a bit. What a mess.

Fun! I love the beach. Especially the sounds. : ) Very relaxing.

We cooked out this weekend too. I haven't grilled burgers since last summer and oh, man were they good. I plan on doing that once a week at least now for the summer.

Will have to get me some corn!
