Thanksgiving recap

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Shane and I went to my parents for the day, husband drives 150 miles a day to work so needless to say he wasn't in the mood to drive 300 more miles (he went to his parents). We got up really early so we would have longer to visit with my family. Once we got to the parents we made a quick trip to check out Cole's new house, just renting with two other guys but it's really nice and hard to believe 3 guys live there. We had a nice group for lunch, my brother and his family, aunt and uncle, and cousin and her kids with their boy/girl friend. We had the traditional meal with turkey and dressing and all the fixings. We had such a good time with everyone.

Black Friday, yes we went shopping not at 4:00 am though. We actually got some door busters at 10:00, I couldn't believe things were still in the stores at that time. Since the kids are older it's not what it use to be but it was still fun because we ended up shopping for ourselves.

We are planning to get our Christmas tree on Friday and spending the weekend decorating it and the house. I just love decorating for Christmas.

Sounds like a nice weekend. I'll have to come see your house decorated and your tree. One of these years I'm going to have a tree! Probably no decorations this year because the dining room is still in turmoil and no end in sight yet.

I usually have my tree up by now but I'm being lazy. Hopefully I'll get it done this weekend. That is if I can keep one of my cats from getting in it.
